On November 10, 2014, the Charlotte City Council awarded a new unit price contract for managed print services and related products, services, and solutions to Ricoh USA, Inc. (2016000009).
The contract was competitively solicited by the City on behalf of itself and all other local governments, school districts, and higher education institutions in the United States of America, and other government agencies and nonprofit organizations, and in compliance with the competitive bidding laws of the state of North Carolina. In an effort to leverage this Master Contract, Participating Public Agencies are encouraged to collaborate with Ricoh USA to identify usage and determine the best device to satisfy its needs. Participating Public Agencies will be required to enter into a separate contract with Ricoh USA. All quotes must reflect the Master Contract 2016000009 and the established contracted prices as specified in the Participating Public Agency’s Contract. Any price reductions, special offerings, sales or promotions occurring during the term of the Contract, shall be passed on to the Lead Public Agency and all Participating Public Agencies as soon as they are announced by the manufacturer or Service Provider and shall be considered part of the Contract.
Annual rebate of 1% to all Participating Public Agencies that purchase $100,000 or more annually in Additional Services as defined in Appendix A1 of the Master Contract.
Participating Public Agencies will be required to register for the contracts via www.charlottealliance.org. There is no cost to the Participating Public Agency.
